New York City is the greatest city in the world, and Alpine Scout Camp can be your stepping stone to your Pack, Troop or Crew's adventure exploring the capital of the world.

Alpine Scout Camp is nearby to all of the City's metropolitan airports, rail and bus carriers. Public transportation is easily accessable just outside the camp.

Alpine Scout Camp offers facilities for short term camping to Scouts and has a large selection of facilities to suit your group's needs. We have everything from small tenting sites to a large conference center which can sleep over 40.

Every weekend from September to June the Alpine Scout Camp hosts a large number of events: District Camporees, Wintorees, Klondike Derbies, and Regional and National Conferences.

Also, Alpine Scout Camp offers a large range of weekend activities like Archery, Orienteering Courses, and various in/out of camp hiking trails. The Gary I. Laermer Activity Center includes a 24' indoor and 32' outdoor Climbing Wall and a brand new Cope Course.

Alpine Scout Camp is also home to John E. Reeves Cub World, and in 2011 Cubs will be enchanted with the theme of magic and imagination.
